“See You at the Pole (SYATP) is a student-led Christian prayer movement that began in 1990 when a small group of teenagers in Burleson, Texas, gathered around their school flagpoles to pray for their schools, friends, teachers, and communities. The idea quickly spread, and that September, tens of thousands of students across Texas participated in the first organized See You at the Pole event. Since then, SYATP has grown into an international movement, with students gathering each year—on the fourth Wednesday of September—before school to pray together. Its purpose has remained simple: students voluntarily coming together to seek God and pray for their schools and one another.”
It was great to see students of all ages gather this morning at 7:15 to unite in prayer with students from around the world! Our students planned and led the event, prayers, and Scriptures. Thank you to Mr. Kellenberger and Student Council for breakfast!
