Hello! My name is Carolyn Brooker and I have decided to open an In-home Child Care.
When my 3 children were little, I had a child care business. I am now a grandmother to 14 children and have cared for them as well as my own 3 children and many more over the years. I also currently teach Sunday school classes and help with the youth group at my local church. I have lots of years of experience taking care of children of all ages.

This will be In-home care Monday-Friday 5am-5:30 pm. Multiple child discounts are available, all ages welcome. Drop-in's, full-time, or part-time all available.
Meals and snacks are provided for all.
I do NOT accept SSI/DCF payments. Not currently licensed.

Hello and Welcome to my page! My name is Carolyn Brooker, and I am starting an in-home child care, looking for a handful of kids to watch in my home. My availability would be Monday- Friday 5am-5:30pm

My home is located just west of Fort Scott right off the hwy, I can set up a time for anyone interested in having me watch there kids to either come by the house or have a phone conversation to see if this would be a good fit for your little ones and you.

A little background for you all to get a feel for me...
I have been married for 41 years to my loving husband, I am mother of 3 grown children who have blessed me with 14 grandchildren. I have worked various jobs throughout the years, lastly being with my dear husband for several years. I am now exiting the labor field and turning back to childcare, though it has been a little while since I had my business, I have always cared for children my whole life, be it my own, or another's.

When my children were little I got plenty of experience as an in home child care provider as I had the pleasure of watching a handful of other children while my own grew up.
Through the years, I have worked with my church and I currently run our children's Sunday school group as well as working with the youth group.
I have decided to once again open my home to care for other children, all of my grandchildren have grown and I have continued to care for extended family members little ones over the years.

I will have limited availability as I am the only care provider in the home, therefore I'm only searching for a few children to take care of at this time.
I am not licensed at this time, therefore I will not be accepting and Dcf/ssi payments.
Full-time, part-time, back-up, Drop-in's or summer/school break options are available.

Meals and snacks are provided, I do not transport, however, if you need to set up drop off or pick up with the school transport to my home, that can be discussed. (Has been done before)

I will nurture and care for you Littles helping them to learn and grow through playtime, imagination, and creativity!
