Come on out to the middle school Saturday morning and cheer on our FSMS cross country team. Running starts at 9:00.

Also, I’m still in need of help. I need two people with golf carts, four wheelers or Gators who would be willing to act as lead and trail vehicles. The middle school team will be having a scrimmage meet at the school 9:00 Saturday morning. The purpose is to prepare the team for what to expect and what they’re going to be expected to do at meets and also to break the monotony of a regular practice. Runners need to be there no later than 8:30 for warmup and stretching. The public is invited to come out to the middle school to cheer these young runners on.

Also, course monitors are needed to help out on the course. At least seven people are needed (although places could be found if there are more than seven). Anyone willing to help need to call or text Coach Myers at (620) 404-8237 or email at brent.myers@usd234. Thank in advance.

Fort Scott Middle School Student Council is selling shirts to raise funds for activities this year. There are a variety of designs, types (shirts/sweatshirts/etc.), and colors of both Fort Scott Middle School and Fort Scott Tigers. Follow the link and purchase your new Tiger apparel. Orders are due August 31 with an anticipated pick up day of September 10. Orders will be picked up at Nitro Promotions.
