These four were at it again this afternoon in Mound City. After all medalling Tuesday, they came out and did it again this afternoon. Lily Nickelson finished 8th in the 8th grade girls race, John Doherty finished 7th in the 7th grade boys race, Wyatt Avery finished 7th in the 8th grade boys race, and Holden Farrell finished 5th in the 8th grade boys race. I was just looking last night when I got home at our times over the whole season so far and I want to give a special shout out to one of our 8th graders. Bo May has ran faster at every meet this year. He started out with a 17:20.89 at our meet, to 15:53.12 last week at Prairie View, to 15:38.0 last night. That’s a drop of nearly two minutes over the course of the season so far. This is just a testimony to what kind of kid he is. He came to almost every day of summer conditioning, he shows up at practice every day and doesn’t complain or question why we’re doing what we’re doing. He just works hard. Keep up the great work, Bo.
