One Kansas classroom project changed the way the world remembers Irena Sendler.

During the Kansas Dialogue weekend, Norm Conard and Megan Felt shared the remarkable story of "Life in a Jar: The Irena Sendler Project," the student project that brought international attention to Sendler and her courageous work rescuing hundreds of Jewish children during the Holocaust.

“The Lowell Milken Center for Unsung Heroes was breathtaking. Not only did they give us a great presentation on Friday, they blew us away on Saturday night with their ‘Life in a Jar’ presentation at the Liberty Theatre. People will be talking about it for years.”
