The Kansas heat is no joke! Whether you're working outdoors, training, or enjoying time with family, take a few extra moments to protect yourself from the heat.

💧 Stay hydrated—don't wait until you're thirsty.
🧢 Wear light-colored, breathable clothing.
🌳 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning when possible.
🧴 Don't forget sunscreen and reapply throughout the day.
⚠️ Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and look out for your coworkers, friends, and family.
