🏀 10/4 • 4:30 PM GAME RECAP 🔥

The 4:30 game did NOT disappoint! Maryland took down Florida 41–33, handing Florida its first loss of the Fall League on the back end of their doubleheader! 🚨🏀

Florida was led by Kingston Wall, who once again made an impact on both ends of the floor. Wall finished with a game-high 14 points, with Banks Cimino adding 10 and Andrew Meier contributing 6. Will Meier knocked down another 3, keeping his average at one three per game, while Henry Meier was once again ferocious on the defensive end. 💪

Maryland answered with a complete team effort. Henry Stevenson took charge on both sides of the ball, bringing serious pressure defensively while handling the ball, creating for others, and making elite passes on offense. Stevenson and Radeen Malek both finished with 12 points, Dawson Shore added 5, and Bennett Shore chipped in 4. Only two Maryland players were held off the scoresheet.

The balanced scoring was a huge part of the win, but Maryland’s team defense was the real difference-maker. Everyone was flying around, applying pressure, and making Florida work for every possession. 🔒🔥

After Florida’s undefeated start, Maryland came ready to end the streak-and they did just that.

Congratulations to Maryland on a statement win! 🏀👏

🏀 10/4 • 3:30 PM GAME RECAP 🔥

The final score might make it look close, but Florida controlled this one for most of the afternoon, taking down Texas 43–36.

Kingston Wall led Florida in scoring with 13, but for Wall, the real story was getting his teammates involved. With the ball moving all over the court, Florida got big contributions across the lineup. Andrew Meier posted a season-high 12, Banks Cimino added 9, and AJ Pickett cooked up 4 while his brother Sully Pickett chipped in a couple of buckets. 🌴🔥

On the other side, Andrew Riek put together a performance for the books. Riek led all scorers with a new Fall League high of 29 points, passing Wall’s previous record of 28. 😤🏀

Texas also got strong contributions around Riek. Charlie Louis was slicing and dicing defenders with his handles, Sammy Kamil kept finding teammates with sharp passes, and Palmer Holman connected on his signature baseline shot for 2.

Florida stays rolling, while Texas continues the search for win #1. These two teams won’t see each other again for another week, giving Texas plenty of time to regroup before the next matchup. 👀

The Fall League keeps moving. 🪣🏀

Another great Wednesday evening practice session.

This week we got to focus on ball movement, getting rid of the ball quicker instead of holding onto it for unnecessary dribbles, cutting, and transition defense.

We were able to finish with some 3 on 3 work that helped some of our players get looks they maybe haven’t had in 5 on 5 games yet. Getting these looks will help us prepare for our games Sunday.

Let’s keep working 💪

🏀 9/27 • 4:30 PM GAME RECAP 🔥

If you blinked, you might’ve missed it. This one came down to the final inbound play. ⏰

With the game tied and time running out, Cannon James found Madelyn Trevillian on the inbound, and Madelyn knocked down the buzzer-beater to give Maryland the win as time expired! 🚨🏀

Radeen Malek led Maryland with 14 points in another balanced scoring effort, while Texas’ Andrew Riek also finished with 14 to lead all Texas scorers. Malek and Riek shared the game-high with 14 each.

Dawson Shore once again made his impact felt by creating opportunities for his teammates and helping lead Maryland’s defensive charge. It seemed like the entire Maryland squad found different ways to get their hands on the ball and turn defense into offense. 💪

Both teams moved the ball incredibly well and battled all the way to the final buzzer. Now, Maryland and Texas turn their attention to Florida as they look to slow down the undefeated team and end their win streak next weekend. 👀🔥

🏀 9/27 • 3:30 PM GAME RECAP 🔥

Week 2 was incredible right down to the very last second!

🌴 Florida edged Texas 30-27 in an absolute thriller that came down to the final possessions.

🔥 Kingston Wall once again led the way, pouring in 18 points and knocking down 4 threes in a huge performance. The Meier trio continued to make an impact all over the floor, while AJ Pickett got on the board with a clean look to help Florida hold on.

Texas had plenty of firepower of their own. Andrew Riek led all Texas scorers with 15 points, followed by Gretchen Woelffer with 7 and Charlie Louis with 5.

On the defensive end, Ella Bever and Max Kirschbaum brought relentless pressure all afternoon, making every possession a battle for Texas. 💪🔥

Florida moves to 2-0 and will face a doubleheader next weekend!
