Watercraft operators to the rescue!
Adding a unique level of versatility to the Auxiliary, Personal Watercraft Operators can operate in any depth of water to achieve their local mission. Many PWO’s donate their own vessel for Auxiliary use, doubling their contribution to the Auxiliary between their watercraft and their time.

This policy update gives mariners more flexibility to use past sea time toward their captain’s license, even if life took them away from the water.
