We love you Jake Avril and we are praying for your family.
This note is from Jake’s family
Jake passed away peacefully this afternoon , Fathers Day. He has fought cancer for 4 plus years like the Scottish lion he has tattooed on his shoulder -
He was indeed Braveheart ⚔️.
He’s had many short term goals over the last few years to support and be witness to his families achievements from milestones to simply having dinner together - they are collectively grateful to and proud of Jake - and love him very much.
Thank you to all of you who have kept Jake and his family in your prayers over these past few years - please continue to do so.
A special thanks to extended family and his friends who have provided support and company to Jake - and to his immediate family over these last two weeks since Jake came home.
Strunk Funeral Home will be providing services to the family.
A funeral mass will be scheduled at St. Helen. It is not expected to occur until after the July 4th holiday. We will provide further updates through this FB page.
His life here with us is done - his next life, watching over all of us, has now begun.
