Congratulations to Caleb Norwitch who passed is instrument check ride today with DPE Gene Scanlon in Caleb’s beautiful RV-7. This is the first Instrument rating I’ve ever done in an RV series aircraft.Great plane but nowhere near as easy to fly as a conventional trainer -but this kid made it look easy. Congratulations to Hudson Shytles who successfully passed his instrument checkride today with DPE Frank Gallagher in our PA28-140 Cherokee. Hudson’s been flying with me since he was 8 years old. He earned his Private Pilot certificate at age 17. He graduates from USC next spring with an aerospace engineering degree. Can’t imagine where he got this love of flying from. www.flymkl.com - making pilots since 1988.
