A huge Panther Praise to our 17 Army JROTC Cadets that recently participated in the 2022 JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge Camp held at the Tanah Keeta Scout Reservation in Jupiter, FL from 2-6 June.

During the rigorous training, the Cadets learned new ways to work more efficiently as both individuals as well as in teams.

To highlight a few of the events that they did:

The students did a long-distance swimming test and then learned how to make emergency floatation devices from uniform articles in the Drown-Proofing Training.

They learned how to rappel from the 50-foot rappelling tower.

Cadets tackled numerous team-building physically demanding obstacles before moving to the High COPE site, where they engaged in several climbing and rope course events before going on a 300 foot zip line ride.

They slugged out some hot and nasty weather as a team and brought great credit on the Fort Pierce Westwood Army JROTC Program! - Great job for them digging in and finding their individual toughness.

Way to go Panthers!!!
