🎨🎭 March is Arts in Our Schools Month!
We’re celebrating the power of the arts and the creativity they inspire in classrooms across our district. From visual art and music to theater and dance, the arts help students express themselves, think creatively, and thrive.
All month long, we’ll be featuring a weekly Creative Hearts Spotlight, highlighting some of our incredible arts teachers from across the district and the passion they bring to their classrooms. Join us as we celebrate the talent, dedication, and impact of arts education!

First grade had a fun way to wrap up Read Across America Week!
Today students dressed up and celebrated their love of reading by making a Dr. Seuss inspired snack that looked just like the Cat in the Hat’s hat! Using tasty ingredients, they stacked their treats to create the famous red and white stripes.
The kids loved getting creative, and it was the perfect way to celebrate a week full of stories, imagination, and reading together.
Reading + creativity + a little snack = a great ending to a wonderful week!
