Our first Bulldog slushy event was a hit! Students were excited to cool off and enjoy a refreshing treat together. It's always good to have our students be able to enjoy an early release day with a little something special, and the smiles on their faces made the event even more memorable. Of course, there is ALWAYS a sing along, which added even more fun and school spirit to the celebration!

What an amazing day! We had a fantastic turnout at our Tunnel of Hope celebration as we welcomed our Bulldogs back to school. From the smiles to the cheers, it was the perfect way to kick off an exciting new school year.

There’s nothing quite like walking into a new school year with a crowd of people rooting for you. The energy was contagious, and our students could truly feel the love, support, and encouragement from everyone who showed up.

A huge shoutout and thank you to all of our agency representatives, school board members (Dr. Mills, Ms. Hawley and Ms. Richardson), Chief of Schools, Dr. Sommer, community partners, and volunteers who joined us. Your enthusiasm helped make the day extra special and created memories our students will carry with them all year long. Thank you for helping make our Tunnel of Hope a big success!

SAFETY FIRST… FGMS Families please adhere to arrival and dismissal procedures!!
Morning student drop-off will take place at the rear of the school in front of the gymnasium. Unless you need to visit the front office or purchase school shirts, please use the rear drop-off location.

Students arriving after 9:30 a.m. must enter through the front office to obtain a late pass.

School buses will unload students at the front of the campus near the cafeteria.

We’ll also be welcoming students back with our Tunnel of Hope, and several community partners will be on campus to greet students on their first day. Because of these activities, parking at the front of the school will be limited and may be busy.

Dismissal begins at 3:58 p.m. Parent pick-up will take place at the front of the school, and buses will load at the rear of the campus. If you need to pick up your child early, please make sure they are signed out before 3:15 p.m.

For student safety, anyone picking up a student must present a valid government-issued photo ID and be listed as an authorized contact in Skyward. Students can only be released to individuals listed in their Skyward profile.

There’s no place like Forest Grove! We are excited to welcome both returning and new Bulldogs as we kicked off the 2026–2027 school year.

Our FGMS Open House was a tremendous success, bringing together new and familiar faces, enthusiastic families, and dedicated community partners. Their continued support and presence each year reflect the strong belief they have in our school, our staff, and our students.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event memorable. We look forward to an outstanding school year ahead!

As we begin a new school year, we are excited to celebrate an extraordinary milestone—earning an FGMS historic first A grade, alongside the district’s second A rating.

This accomplishment is a moment to be proud of, and it serves as a reminder of what we can achieve when we work together toward a common goal. While we celebrate this success, we are also energized and inspired by the opportunities that lie ahead.
