We are so grateful to recognize Dunn’s Kids Foundation as an Agriculture Advocate Sponsor of the St. Lucie County 4-H Farm!

Because of community partners like Dunn’s Kids Foundation, our farm is able to provide hands-on agricultural experiences to more than 10,000 youth each year—including many children who are not enrolled in 4-H.

Their support helps children meet our animals, experience agriculture firsthand, and better understand the important role agriculture plays in their everyday lives.

We are still looking for community partners to join us as 2026–2027 Farm Sponsors. If your business or organization would like to help us continue reaching thousands of local children, we would love to have you be part of the farm’s story.

The St. Lucie County 4-H Farm had the honor of welcoming Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson to learn more about the impact of agricultural education in our community.

One of the highlights of the visit was hearing directly from our St. Lucie County 4-H Ambassadors. These outstanding young people shared how 4-H, agriculture, and the 4-H Farm have shaped their lives, developed their leadership skills, and inspired their future goals. Their stories are the true measure of our program's success.

The St. Lucie County 4-H Farm is the only UF/IFAS Extension-operated educational 4-H Farm of its kind in Florida, but what truly makes it unique is the community behind it. Volunteers, youth, families, donors, community partners, UF/IFAS Extension, and St. Lucie County have come together with a shared commitment to agricultural education. That collaboration is what makes this farm possible.

We were also honored to have members of the St. Lucie County Commission join us, demonstrating their continued support for youth development and agricultural education.

This visit was not about politics. It was a celebration of partnership and a chance to showcase what can be accomplished when a community, a county, and a university work together to invest in the next generation.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the St. Lucie County 4-H Farm. This farm belongs to our community, and its success is a reflection of what we can accomplish together.
