✨ October is National Book Month! 📚

Studies show adult literacy rates are in decline- over 50% of American adults read AT or BELOW a sixth-grade proficiency level. Reading a book is the best way to expand your vocabulary and improve comprehension skills.

National Book Month is the perfect time to step away from the screen, silence the notifications, and rediscover the joy of a good story. Reading expands our minds, reduces stress, and allows us to see the world through someone else's eyes.

Let’s start a Reading Revolution! 📖

A huge thank you to the Tennessee Valley Authority's Helicopter Linemen for visiting FPCA today! 🚁⚡️

Our students got an inside look at the exciting world of TVA Helicopter Linemen, learning all about what it takes to work high in the sky and the amazing career opportunities available in this field. Students were able to get up close and personal with the helicopter and equipment used in the profession.

We’re so grateful to the presenters for taking the time to inspire our future workforce!

Mental health matters, and so do our students and staff.

This week at FPHS and FPCA, our Mental Health department tried to spread a little encouragement and positivity by handing out keychains with uplifting messages. A small reminder that a little kindness can go a long way.
