🖤💛 Homecoming week was full of Wildcat spirit at WVES! Our little Wildcats had so much fun dressing up and cheering on their team all week long! 🖤💛

🌺 Monday: Hawaiian — Sink the Pirates!
🏈 Tuesday: Team Up Against the Pirates — Favorite team shirts and jerseys!
✨ Wednesday: Outshine the Pirates — Neon, bright colors, and sparkles!
🖤 Thursday: Black Out the Pirates — All black for the pep rally!
💛 Friday: Cheer for a WIN — Black and gold!

The BEST part of the week was welcoming FPHS’ senior football players, band members, and all the cheerleaders for a special pep rally! They brought the excitement, cheered with our little Wildcats, and signed autographs, making it a week to remember! 🐾

Thank you for sharing your Wildcat spirit with WVES! GO CATS! 🖤💛

Mrs. Chavarria is making learning fun by connecting math and reading through read-aloud! Students practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing while working together on fun, hands-on activities. These activities help students learn new words, practice math skills, and build confidence while learning English!

After completing laps for jogging club last week, WVES students got to scoop up some fun! They did great learning all about hand/eye coordination while tossing and catching their ice cream in the cone.

We were impressed with the patience our students showed while learning something new and challenging.

😊 Smiles were spreading at WVES for World Smile Day!

Our counselors, Mrs. Whitton and Mrs. Davis, teamed up with our peer helpers to create encouraging posters and welcome students to school on Friday morning! Their kind messages helped start the day with a smile. 💛

Students and staff wore their best smiles and smiley attire, and our counselors shared even more cheer by handing out smiley stickers!

A little kindness and a simple smile can brighten someone’s day! 😊

🚜🌽 WVES celebrated Farm Day with a big THANK YOU to the farmers who provide fresh food and produce for our lunchroom! Students dressed as farmers for a fun day celebrating the people who help keep us fed. 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

FPCS’ Director of Transportation and Child Nutrition Program, Mrs. Jordan Giles, joined the fun and lent a helping hand as one of our CNP workers, serving students as they made their way through the lunch line!

Thank you to our farmers and our hardworking CNP team for bringing farm-fresh goodness to our students’ plates! 💚🥕
