This weekend we had the privilege of traveling to Fort Oglethorpe to help celebrate a special milestone.

Happy 50th Birthday to our friend Derrick Pendergrass.

One of the wonderful things about martial arts is the friendships that are built over the years. Tournaments, seminars, promotions, road trips, and training have a way of bringing people together from all over. Those friendships often last far longer than the trophies.

Derrick has dedicated years to the martial arts, and it was an honor to help celebrate this milestone with him, his family, and so many friends.

Fifty years young... and still kicking!

Now we can officially say Happy 5 0 (fifty) to Mr. Pendergrass. Thanks to each and everyone that was able to come help us celebrate, called and texted. We had a great night listening to old stories, laughing, crying and visiting with one another.
