The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is a program put forth by the United States Armed Forces in high schools across the nation that train high school students in Leadership and Military Sciences. The program is entirely run by the cadets, with the assistance of two or more retired servicemen, a senior instructor and an assistant instructor. It is a military regulated high school program that educates high school students in leadership, self-confidence, and skills that can be applied to everyday life. The mission of JROTC is to motivate young people to become better American citizens.
