Anny Sanchez ranks third in her class at Estero High School. As a dual-enrolled student at Florida Gulf Coast University, she earned President's List honors for completing at least 12 hours of regularly graded classes during semester with a 4.0 GPA. She will continue her studies at FGCU and major in Exercise Science as she pursues her goal of becoming a doctor of physical therapy.
In athletics, Anny participated in Varsity Basketball during her freshman and sophomore years, Varsity Cross Country for three years—serving as team captain—and Varsity Track and Field all four years, also as team captain.
Beyond academics and athletics, Anny has made meaningful contributions to her school community. She has been involved in Best Buddies, Pathways, NHS, and ASU, and she founded both the Book Club and Pickleball Club.

Riverdale High School’s Sarah King currently has a 5.16 GPA and plans on attending either USF or UF to study microbiology. After receiving her bachelor's degree, she would like to attend medical school and become a pathologist.
As the school district’s top 11th grade student in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), Sarah was named a Sunshine State Scholar her junior year. She will be attending the Edison Awards for her accomplishments.

42 scholar athletes from 21 Lee County high schools were award $31,000 in scholarships from the Rotary Club of Fort Myers South.
Congratulations to Fort Myers High School's Kael Seneca for being named the top male scholar athlete for the year.

Whether he’s troubleshooting complex server networks or rendering 3D animations, Dunbar High School’s Kenneth Smith is known as the “Content King” on YouTube. He has a following of 139,000 subscribers to view his original content and technical expertise.
Kenneth holds industry certifications in CompTIA Security+, Net+, Server+, and A+, as well as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. He helps to create 3D assets for influencers with more than one million followers and manages the advertisement board at North Law Firm Stadium.
Kenneth is also a community leader. He has spent years volunteering with the I Will Mentorship Foundation, introducing community members to VR and assisting with robotics projects. Preparing for a career in tech, Kenneth is currently a Tech Intern for the school district.

Mariner High School’s Cara Everly is graduating with a 5.4 GPA, a Cambridge diploma, and an associate's degree from Florida SouthWestern State College. She will attend Florida Gulf Coast University in the fall to study psychology.
Cara is a member of the National Honor Society and the Art National Honor Society. She played four years of varsity tennis.
Outside of school, Cara is a volunteer at the Animal Refuge Center in North Fort Myers and participates in mission trips for Cross Road Missions.
