Yesterday, we had the opportunity to meet with the amazing Create To Educate, Inc. group from The Canterbury School of Fort Myers, and we are so excited to begin this wonderful new partnership!

It is always inspiring to see students and young leaders who are passionate about giving back and making a difference in their community. Create to Educate is looking for ways to get involved and help support students across Lee County, and we are thrilled to work together to turn that passion into impact! 💙

We are so grateful to have groups like Create to Educate stepping up, getting involved, and finding meaningful ways to support the students of Lee County. We can’t wait to see what we accomplish together! 🎓🙌

There’s Still Time to Apply for Take Stock in Children!

Big dreams start with taking the first step! 💙

Applications for our Take Stock in Children program are still OPEN, but the deadline is coming up! Eligible Lee County 6th and 9th grade students have until October 26 to apply.

Through Take Stock in Children, students can receive:

✨ One-on-one mentorship
🎓 A four-year tuition scholarship to a Florida public college or university
📚 College and career preparation
💙 Long-term support to help them reach their goals

And the best part? There is no cost to families.

If you know a motivated 6th or 9th grade student who is ready to work toward a brighter future, now is the time to apply!

Connecting with the Next Generation of Changemakers!

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the Florida Gulf Coast University Service-Learning Fair! It was a wonderful day filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and the opportunity to connect with students who are passionate about making a difference in their community.

We loved sharing more about The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools and our Take Stock In Children Program. As well as learning about the incredible interests, talents, and goals of FGCU students!

Thank you to FGCU for hosting such a great event and bringing students and community organizations together! We’re always excited to build new relationships and explore opportunities to work together to support education and our community.

Last week, we were thrilled to receive another amazing donation of school supplies from our wonderful community partners over at Amvets Post 81! 🎒✏️📚

Once again, AMVETS Post 81 went above and beyond by dropping off a generous amount of supplies to help us keep our Education Resource Center (ERC) stocked and ready for teachers throughout the school year.

We are incredibly grateful for their continued generosity and commitment to supporting educators and students across Lee County. Donations like this make a real difference in helping our teachers get the resources they need to succeed!

🎓Take Stock in Children Applications Are NOW OPEN! 🎓

Are you a 6th or 9th grade student ready to take the next step toward your future? Applications are now open for our Take Stock in Children program!

Do you know a motivated 6th or 9th grade student with big dreams? Or are you one yourself? This is your opportunity to earn a college scholarship, receive one-on-one mentorship, and gain the long-term support needed to succeed — all at no cost to your family.

This life-changing program is open to eligible students in Lee County and is designed to help students achieve their college and career goals. Through mentorship and guidance, Take Stock in Children helps students prepare for success both in and beyond high school.

And the opportunity continues after graduation! Students who successfully complete the program graduate with a four-year tuition scholarship to attend a Florida public college or university. 🎓
