What an incredible energy on the dance floor! A huge thank you to everyone who joined me for this Rueda de Casino class. I am absolutely thrilled and so proud of this group. Rueda requires teamwork, rhythm, and focus, and I was blown away by how quickly everyone caught on.

We hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day!

We are excited to introduce a very special event happening this March. This will be a Cuban-style salsa called Rueda de Casino! It is a fun, dynamic, and highly social style of salsa where dancers form a circle (“rueda”). There is a lead and a follow in each pair, and throughout the dance, partners rotate and switch at certain called moments.

We plan to launch a special biweekly Rueda de Casino class taught by our instructor Jary, starting with this pilot session. Based on participation and feedback, we hope to offer it more frequently this semester and in the future.

Make sure to mark your calendars! We are beyond excited to teach you just how fun and social Rueda de Casino truly is.
