Dear Renaissance Montessori Community,
As many of you know, I have been planning for my retirement from Renaissance for some time. I have been transitioning to a new position within the Montessori community as the Executive Director of the International Montessori Council (IMC). Since founding Renaissance 27 years ago, my family and I have been honored to serve many wonderful children and families in our community. We have been privileged to work with some of the most dedicated and talented Montessori educators and leaders. Our shared history at Renaissance is based on the belief that through Montessori education we inspire individuals to express their unique potential with purpose, passion, and vision.
In order to assure the continuity of high-quality Montessori education for our students, our Board of Trustees has transitioned ownership and directorship of the school to James Farwell of the Montessori School of Fort Myers. This transition is effective on June 28, 2019. On behalf of the Leitch family and the RMS Board, we offer our heartfelt appreciation for your support over the years.
