I can remember my father telling me that I did not have the "luxury" of messing up or wasting time. It was a strong message for a little kid but I understand that he wanted to make sure I was prepared for life. Of course, I didn't always follow this sage advice but I am forever grateful that I have had opportunities to become better.. with every step toward my purpose.
