Congratulations to FSW's Respiratory Care program on earning the Distinguished Registered Respiratory Therapist Credentialing Success Award for the 12th consecutive year!

We're thrilled to share that FSW's Respiratory Care program has been recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), earning the Distinguished Registered Respiratory Therapist Credentialing Success Award for the 12th consecutive year.

This achievement recognizes the collective effort of our faculty, staff, clinical partners and alumni, whose dedication continues to make achievements like this possible!

Take a look at campers in our Drones, Data & Aerial Technology Teen Camp! They not only wrote flight scripts for drones, but also manually piloted them and gained the same hands-on experience that's used in professional drone and aerospace work.

Our new athletics director, Dr. Kevin Lynum plans to showcase the Buccaneers across Southwest Florida while also raising the standard in the classroom.

FSW Library staff member Kylie Garrow recently brought forensic science to life for 17 high school students during FSW Teen Camp on the Lee Campus!
Throughout the day, Kylie introduced students to crime scene investigation through a researched lecture, simulated crime scenes and a complex scenario involving skeletal remains, scene reporting and autopsy reports.

When completed in fall 2027, Building L will strengthen its role as a hub for creativity, learning and community engagement. We look forward to seeing how the renovated space will serve FSW students.

Often, we say goodbye to our students as they move on to the next chapter of their lives. Every so often, we have the joy of seeing that journey come full circle.

That is the case with former FSW students Isabell Martinez and Nayaly Maldonado, who have returned to FSW as project engineers with Skanska to help lead the renovation of Building L, Humanities Hall.

Since 1979, generations of students have explored music, art, theater and design in Building L. It is also home to the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery at FSW, a treasured cultural space that connects the Southwest Florida community with world-class contemporary art. When completed in Fall 2027, the renovation will strengthen Humanities Hall's role as a hub for creativity, learning and community engagement.

Seeing Isabell and Nayaly return to FSW as professionals helping shape the college's future is a powerful reminder of the impact of an FSW education.
