Cypress Strings

In honor of our senior recital tomorrow, here are some throwback photos of our seniors throughout their year’s here in the program!

Our Senior recital is on Wednesday, May 27th. All of our pieces were put together by our seniors. They’re looking forward to preforming on the Cypress stage for the last time. Center major seniors will also be reviewing their cords and certificates.

We had a visit yesterday from FGCU’s Dr. Sena Moore for a hands on music therapy experience. We learned so much!

Saturday, April 18th, Florida Gulf Coast University Guitar Festival with clinician Rafael Padron. Our Guitar ensemble, center majors and soloists all performed and received high quality feedback from a master musician.

Thursday, April 16th, Ms. Lisa conducted the Florida SouthWestern State College Symphony Orchestra concert on stage of the Barbara B. Mann. Both current Cypress students and Cypress alumni, Carly and Cristian, were representing! The FSW Guitar Ensemble also performed first under direction of Dr. Ken Puls with current Cypress student, Anyela, and Cypress alumni, Ethan.

Marc and Jacob performed for the Fort Myers Woman’s Community Club Pink Tea at the Burrough’s Home on April 9th

Marc, Amy, and Jacob got some professional experience playing a Cantata service at Zion Lutheran Church for Palm Sunday!
