My name is Angie, and I am grateful to be a part of the FGCU Community Counseling & Education Center as a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master's Level Student Intern.
• I take a person-centered counseling approach. I focus on supporting individuals as they tap into their innate strength and wisdom to heal, grow, and embody their most authentic selves. I especially enjoy working with children and older adults.
• My favorite coping skill for stress is to walk outside.
• My hobbies include cooking, reading, and soaking up the sunshine.
• My favorite book is Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
