This is a reminder that our 6th grade orientation called Lynx Tracks is taking place this Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Parents can drop students at parent pickup (Front of school) and return at noon to pick them up. At Noon, you can get ahead of the crowds and purchase school-branded shirts, etc., in our main hallway. We look forward to seeing your student at Lynx Tracks!

Attention Lynx families! Tryout season is right around the corner. Here's what you need to know to get your student-athlete ready:

📅 FALL SPORTS
🏀 Basketball (B/G) — Tryouts start 8/12/26
🏃 Cross Country — Tryouts start 9/8/26

📅 WINTER SPORTS
🏐 Volleyball (B/G) — Tryouts start 10/12/26
⚽ Soccer (B/G) — Tryouts start 1/5/27

📅 SPRING SPORTS
🏃‍♀️ Track (B/G) — Tryouts start 2/22/27
🎾 Tennis (B/G) — Tryouts start 3/29/27
⛳ Golf (B/G) — Tryouts start 3/29/27

⏰ Tryouts & practices run Mon–Thurs, 4:30–5:45 p.m. (unless your coach says otherwise). Students will be added to a Google Classroom for all tryout details.

🚌 Activity buses run Monday–Thursday. Students need a bus pass from their coach before riding home.

Our administrators had some FuN at the Races as they spent a productive day with colleagues, gearing up for success in the new school year.

The Lynx claimed three winners in the 2026 Federal Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program competition. Congratulations Camila, Brenda and Joel!

Adrienne Marcus was awarded a top 3 grand prize this month in the 2025/26 Federal Art Contest sponsored by the Middle District Attorneys and Judges of Florida. Her artwork will hang in the Federal Courthouse Building. Congratulations Adrienne and art teacher, Mr. Hernandez!
