Due to changes in my life, I have made the hard decision to close down Fort Morgan Guitar Studio as of August 28, 2026. I am not accepting any students and will begin the process of putting this all to bed for the final time.
I have been greatly humbled and blessed by all of the students I have been able to work with over the years and will always cherish those memories and friendships.

I have been teaching guitar through the School for the Performing Arts for 5 years. Due to changes, I am now on my own with support from the SPA.
John Waters has been teaching guitar and bass guitar lessons through the School for the Performing Arts in Fort Morgan, Colorado for the last several years. Due to the status change of the SPA from a functioning school to a foundation, John is now working independently, but also alongside the SPA Foundation to make scholarships available to guitar and bass guitar students.
I am no longer accepting new students. Due to personal changes, I am beginning the process of shutting down Fort Morgan Guitar Studio. For current students, we will continue as per normal for the foreseeable future.
