🚗🔧 Exploring Careers in Automotive Collision Repair! 🔧🚗

A big THANK YOU to our community partners, Mohave College and WAVE JTED, for visiting Desert Star High School last week to share exciting opportunities with our Titan Scholars interested in Automotive Collision Repair! 💙

DSHS scholars had the opportunity to learn more about the program, explore the industry certifications available through Mohave College, and discover how WAVE JTED can help cover program-related costs, up to one year after graduation! 🎓

Through this program, DSHS scholars can earn high school and college credits while working toward professional certifications in:

🔧 Automotive Bodywork
🎨 Automotive Refinishing
📋 Automotive Estimating

We are proud to connect our scholars with local partners and hands-on career opportunities that help prepare them for success beyond high school!

Looking for great bargains while making a direct, meaningful impact right here in our neighborhood? Come out and shop our upcoming Career & Technical Education (CTE) Community Garage Sale!

Our scholars have been hard at work organizing, organizing inventory, and building hands-on event management skills, but the real heart of this event is about taking care of our own—100% of the proceeds will go directly to support a local family from our school and community currently in need.

Every item you take home directly helps provide essential relief to our neighbors.

Our Star Football Team is putting together a full month of Community service and team building activities!

We are extremely excited to get the entire DSA High School and Middle School communities (clubs and teams) involved in our Can food drive Car wash! October 17th is going to be a massive event, all hands-on deck, for the betterment of our community!

Please plan to attend the Can food drive on Oct. 17th. Drop off non-perishable items and we will wash your car as a thank you!

Success is a Choice!

We are also excited to announce we were selected to attend the ASU vs Hawaii game on October 10th. Time of the game and parent ticket costs (discounted) will come out later.
