Young Scholar's Academy (YSA) is a year-round public, charter school dedicated to the education of your child.* We strive to provide the best educational advantages for your child and to nurture his/her self-esteem. YSA is a back-to-basics school, emphasizing academic learning. Academic learning includes reading, language arts, and mathematics. Here at Young Scholar's Academy, staff and parents pledge to work together to help children achieve their academic potential. We expect all parents and students to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the school administration. The staff and the parent will work together as a team to help your child achieve and enjoy learning. The academics will be challenging, yet, by allowing children to progress independently at his/her own pace, we will ensure his/her success academically as well as emotionally. Our teacher to student ratio is a maximum of 1:12, ensuring individual attention for each child. Each member of our staff is invested in the success of every student and we accomplish this by knowing each student and their particular needs.

Starting tomorrow is NJHS’s sock, slipper and blanket drive. All the items we receive go to Billet Home Health and they distribute them to homebound seniors, the homeless, and veterans in our area. By donating you’re not only helping our community but you could help to win a party for your class, and a $30 gift card for your teacher! Let’s make this the most successful drive yet! Thank you
