Happy birthday to our fearless leader, Coach Adam!

As a gym owner: 13 years ago, Adam acquired a local gym and began to rebrand the locations of North and South. It took nearly a year to come up with a new identity. “When people look at our logo or a tshirt, they need to see our “WHY”, not our “WHAT.” What we do is teach cheerleading, tumbling and stunting…but WHY we do it is much more important to make a positive IMPACT on our athletes and their families to honor Jesus Christ, the ONE name under heaven and earth that has been given to mankind to be saved…Acts 4:12.

As a gym owner, he is more focused at things being done the right way and teaching athletes and staff alike, than he is winning. “Strength comes from the struggle…each season is a journey for the athlete and the team. I want to see constant improvement. If we improve at every practice and every competition, we will be pleased with the results.”

Holiday Closure Reminder! 🇺🇸

Impact 1 will be CLOSED Monday, June 29 through Saturday, July 4, 2026. During this time, there will be no classes, Toddler Time, or team practices.

Staff Spotlight ✨

Welcome Coach K! Here is a little bit more about her:

Hi everyone! My name is Coach K, also known as Kayliah Metcalf, and I’m so excited to join the Impact One family as a new coach!

My cheer journey started when I was younger cheering for my brother’s football team. I later cheered at White Knoll High School in both sideline and competitive cheer, and I also loved helping with youth cheer clinics. I was also selected for both sideline and competition cheer will I was attending Newberry College.

Along with cheer, I recently worked at a daycare, where I gained experience working with children of different ages and developed a strong passion for mentoring young athletes.

I’m excited to help athletes grow in confidence, skills, and teamwork while creating a fun and positive environment. I can’t wait for an amazing season. Go Impact One!
