She is returning for her third year with Camp Invention after previously attending as a camper. She loves helping inspire creativity and confidence in younger campers!

Camp Invention® 2026 Bringing hands-on, educational fun to children throughout the summer, Camp Invention® is the perfect STEM summer camp for your young innovator.

⭐️Meet Ananya she will be a rising senior at Catawba Ridge High School and she will be joining us as a Leadership Intern this summer. Her career goals align perfectly with STEM - specifically Math, Computer Science & Biology - she hopes to pursue a career in Bioinformatics / Biostatistics. Her spark in STEM first appeared when she was in elementary school, and when she helped at Camp Invention last summer. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and hanging out with her friends.

Fun fact our director Ms. McElrath was her fourth grade teacher! 📚

⭐️Meet Elliot, she’s an incoming freshman at Nation Ford High School and she will be joining us as a Leadership Intern this summer. Elliot has been a leader in training with Camp Invention for the past two years after being a camper herself, and she’s excited to step into a leadership intern role this summer! When she isn’t at school, she enjoys swimming on the varsity swim team!

⭐️Meet Lauryn, she is a rising junior at Catawba Ridge High School and she will be joining us as a Leadership Intern with us this summer. After high school, she wants to major in biochemistry and has a career goal of becoming an anesthesiologist.

Lauryn is excited to be a part of Camp Invention, and is looking forward to helping kids explore the wonders of science through fun activities. She can't wait to meet kids who are excited about STEM and she is looking forward to helping them learn how fun and exciting science is.
