Rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are invited to attend FCMS Flag Football Camp scheduled for July 14th-16th from 8:30am-11:30am at the FCMS football field.

Yesterday, we had the honor of celebrating two truly wonderful staff members as they prepare for retirement, Missy Pusey and Nancy Johnsen. Their years of dedication, compassion, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our students, staff, and school community.

Through the countless lives they’ve touched and the care they’ve shown each day, Missy and Nancy have helped make our school such a special place. While we will miss them greatly, we are so excited for this next chapter in their lives.

Thank you, Missy and Nancy, for everything you have poured into our school family over the years. Your impact will not be forgotten, and we wish you both a retirement filled with happiness, relaxation, and many wonderful memories ahead! 💛🎉

🎭 🎬 Students in our after school PTO sponsored club, Limelight Kids, put on a wonderful show of Peter Pan this week! After working all school year, they brought their talents and imagination to the stage! Bravo to all our Dragons who participated! 💛

We are so excited to share that our booth brought home Most School Spirit at the Rotary Club 1st Grade Picnic! 🏆💛

DBES Field Day is fast approaching and volunteers are needed to help make the event a success!
Field Day schedule:
⭐️ Kindergarten and First Grade: Thursday, May 21st 11:00 AM–1:30 PM.
⭐️ Second and Third Grade: Friday, May 22nd 8:00–10:30 AM�
⭐️ Fourth and Fifth Grade: Friday, May 22nd 11:00 AM–1:30 PM

Volunteers will be assigned to help manage specific stations throughout the event. Please note that younger siblings are not permitted at Field Day, and all volunteers must complete the chaperone clearance process prior to volunteering. Today we had the joy of celebrating our incredible volunteers with a special appreciation breakfast. We were especially honored to recognize ✨Denise Slensker✨ as our 2025/2026 Volunteer of the Year for dedicating an amazing 158 hours of volunteer service through April 27th.

Volunteering comes straight from the heart, and we are so grateful for the time, love, and dedication our volunteers and PTO pour into our school each and every day.💛 Thank you for your support and love!

The Lost & Found is outside our main doors and will remain there through the weekend. We would love for your lost items to be reunited with your student! 😁
