Exciting News for Families! The First Steps 4K Student Application for the 2026-2027 school year is open!

All families of rising 4-year-old kindergarten students are encouraged to check their eligibility and apply at Free4KSC.org.

First Steps 4K partners with more than 300 licensed child care centers, private schools and charter schools across the state, making it easy for families to find a high-quality program that meets their needs. Most schools offer extended day and summer school options.

Due to weather conditions and uncertain road conditions, the preschool will be closed on Monday, February 2nd.

Due to the ice storm expected to extend into early Monday morning, and in accordance with the Charlotte-area weather forecast, Fort Mill Cooperative Preschool will be closed on Monday, January 26, to ensure the safety of our children, families, and staff.
