Registration is now open for 2026-2027 FLYERS Afterschool!

For over 35 years, FLYERS (Fun Loving Youth En-Route to Success) has embodied more than just afterschool care, focusing on the whole child and the importance of social emotional health. What began as a response to the community's overwhelming need for afterschool care has grown into Fort Mill's premier afterschool program, taking place at all elementary schools in the Fort Mill School District. Through unique recreation programs, field trips, and activities, students build friendships and learn important developmental skills after the final bell rings.

February Break is almost here, along with plenty of FLYERS fun!

FLYERS Afterschool will operate on a full day schedule February 16-20, 7am to 6pm daily. Don't forget to pack a lunch and let us know if your child will be attending!

Heads up, FLYERS families!

On Friday, January 30, the Fort Mill School District will operate on a 2-hour release day. FLYERS Afterschool will remain open to keep the afternoon fun, safe, and stress-free.
On Monday, February 2, FLYERS Afterschool will be open from 7am to 6pm for a full day of coverage during Fort Mill School District's Teacher Work Day.

On Monday, January 19, families can count on a full day of programming at FLYERS Afterschool from 7am to 6pm. Be sure to pack a lunch and let us know if your little one is attending. We can't wait for a day full of games, creative activities, and time spent with friends!

December was a fantastic month at FLYERS Afterschool, filled with holiday cheer (and handmade gingerbread houses)! We are incredibly thankful for such a wonderful first half of the school year.

As a reminder, FLYERS will not be in session Wednesday, November 26 through Friday, November 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We hope all of our families enjoy a safe and relaxing weekend!

Registration is NOW OPEN for 2026 FLYERS Summer Camp!

Rising 1st through rising 6th graders are invited to join us for a summer full of creativity, adventure, and nonstop fun. Each week brings new theme-related activities like crafts, team building, Fit Kids, field games, and more!

Choose as many sessions as you'd like and pick the location that works best for your family. FLYERS Summer Camp runs Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm at Kings Town Elementary, River Trail Elementary, Flint Hill Elementary, and Tega Cay Elementary.

Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Cathy has been a valued member of the FLYERS Afterschool team for over a decade. She plays a vital role in supporting staff, families, and students, helping ensure FLYERS remains Fort Mill's premier afterschool program. She loves being part of an organization that contributes to providing a safe, fun, and enriching experience for Fort Mill children. When she's not keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, you can find her playing tennis or enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.
