It's with sadness that I post the passing of one of our 1969 classmates, Lamar Moore. At the wishes of Lamar there will not be any services. Please pray for the family during this time. The pictures were taken from our 50th class reunion and Class Yearbook. Below is his obituary.

Lamar Moore, age 72, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 14, 1951 in Bartow, FL to Lincoln & Tallulah Moore. He was a Mechanic in the phosphate industry. Lamar was a member of New Beginning Church of God of Fort Meade and a past member of the Florida Flywheelers. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Steven Moore. He is survived by his wife Gail Moore of Fort Meade, two daughters Teresa Baxley & husband Steve and Emily Meadows & husband Donnie, sister Yvonne Moore, grandchildren Keely Staats, Hunter Downing, Abby Walkington, Warren Meadows and his dog Bobby Jo.

It's with great sadness that I must tell you of the passing of our classmate Cheryl Langston Morrison. Her celebration of life will be held this Monday, August 22, 2022 at 1st Baptist Church of Ft. Meade, FL. Viewing will be at 10:00AM with the service at 11:00AM.

This event happened 10 years ago and was a joint reunion for Fort Meade High School classes of 1968-1969-1970. There were a few pictures of our lovely ladies in bathing attire but I was told never to post them...don't know why...they looked just like they did in High School...well...sort of :)
