These fine folks were oriented in all things FMCSD today. Meet Ms. Jill Smith, our new Health Science Teacher!🐾

Ms. Smith received her Bachelor of Science degree as a Registered Nurse. She has recently completed her Career and Technical Education (CTE) teaching endorsement!

Ms. Smith has been a teacher for 4 years, and a school nurse for 11 years. Welcome to FMCSD, Ms. Smith!🎉

‼️ FMHS Open House will now take place on August 22nd from 5-6 PM.

FMMS will remain on August 16th from 4-5 PM.
Elementary will remain on August 17th from 4-5 PM.

Dances for the 2023/2024 school year. We have added a Vice Versa dance this year. That dance will happen after the basketball games on February 9, and be held at FMMS in the cafeteria.

Welcome, Mr. Banks!

Meet Mr. Chuck Banks, our new 9-12 Special Education Teacher!🐾

Mr. Banks received his Bachelor's in History, Secondary Education, and Special Education from Graceland University! He also has his Master's in Educational Leadership and Philosophy from Grand Canyon University. This will be his 23rd year in education!

Chuck will also be helping on the football field as an assistant and girl's tennis coach!

We're proud of you, Lucy! Being an advocate for the future is definitely The Bloodhound Way.

FMHS Junior, Lucy Arevalo, advocated for a cause this past week. Lucy was selected as 1 of 2 Iowa delegates to attend the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Children’s Congress 2023 in Washington DC! Lucy met with Joni Ernst, Marianette Miller-Meeks, and Chuck Grassley‘s office.
