Bittersweet Announcement Post: With a grateful heart and many amazing memories I’ve decided to close Little Sprouts Preschool after this school year concludes. It has been an absolute honor and privilege to do what we do at Little Sprouts. Montessori has earned such a special place in my heart and I had no idea the amazing journey it would be when I took over in June of 2020. We’ve overcome many challenges and uncertainty and done the very best we can. Being a business owner is such a challenging, rewarding and humbling experience. I’m incredibly thankful for all of the support, love and compassion we’ve experienced. The decision to close hasn’t been an easy choice but one that I know is right in my heart.
Being an in-home program was never in the “plans”. Two years ago we were faced with a decision and needed to pivot to in-home in hopes of finding a new location and moving back in to center-based at a later date. Being an in-home preschool has worked out well; however, my family has sacrified a lot the past couple of years and I am looking forward to having our home be just our home again.
I’ve been asked, “What will you do next?”…and truthfully I have no clue but I am excited for whatever that may be!
If anyone is interested in continuing on the Montessori legacy I would love to see someone run with it in our community and am very open to sharing any knowledge I can as well as many many years worth of classroom materials and furniture. The Montessori preschool has been around for more than 20 years in some capacity or another here in Lee County. It would be so cool to see that continue.

Annual Teddy Bear Picnic is in the books! We had the best day sharing our beloved stuffed animals and enjoying the sunshine for lunch! Our hearts are warm and fuzzy. Thank you to our families for making today special. The students have been looking forward to to it and we are grateful for such a beautiful day! 🧸 🧺 🥰

Registration is officially open for the 24-25 school year! We are a Montessori preschool offering part day and extended day options. Our part day is reserved for new three year olds who will attend preschool for 2-3 years. Our extended day schedule is reserved for 2nd and 3rd year students, or new enrollments of 4-5 year olds. Email us today for more information. We have very limited spots available!

It’s been a minute! ❄️ January works in full swing and a few pictures from our busy days. The weather outside has been a bit frosty but we are hard at work and making the best of our indoor time!

In the words of one of the students, “this week has been the best ever.”❤️ We agree! The children enjoyed creating homemade gifts and keepsakes for their families and soaking up the holiday magic. We were surprised with new classroom materials and holiday gifts. Our teacher hearts are full.
