🍿🎬 Crusader Incentive: Movie & Popcorn Day! 🎬🍿

Our Crusaders had a wonderful time celebrating their hard work with a schoolwide movie and popcorn day! Turbo was such a fun movie to enjoy together, and the popcorn made it even better!

A HUGE thank-you to the Holy Trinity Athletic Boosters for allowing us to use the popcorn machine and to Matthew Garmoe for providing the big screen and projector to make our movie day extra special!

Most importantly, a big shout-out to our Crusader students for working hard, showing our PBIS values of Respect, Responsibility, and Safety, and earning this incentive! We are so proud of you!

Remember, Crusaders: If you are a Crusader, you are a Champion, because we are all Children of God!

Last night, we celebrated our Fall Sports seniors during Senior Night at the volleyball game. These Crusaders have given countless hours, memories, and moments to their high school athletic programs, and we are so proud of all they have accomplished.

Senior Night is always a little bittersweet. It’s a celebration of how far they’ve come—and a reminder that their final season at HTC is quickly coming to an end.

Thank you, seniors, for representing HTC with pride, heart, and determination. We’re not ready for the “lasts” just yet. 💙🤍

Our students have spent the last several art classes becoming art detectives! They examined famous works of art, looking closely for clues and deciphering the hidden meanings, symbolism, and messages within each piece.

Then it was their turn to become the artists! Students created their own artwork inspired by popular sayings, using imagery, color, and symbolism to communicate a hidden meaning.

Once their artwork was complete, we transformed our classroom into a gallery. Students viewed their classmates’ work and became detectives once again—studying the clues and trying to uncover the hidden meaning behind each piece.

It was a wonderful opportunity to practice observation, critical thinking, symbolism, creativity, and artistic expression—all while discovering that sometimes, there is much more to a work of art than meets the eye!

Tonight we celebrate our SENIORS! Come out for our last regular season home game, as we take on the West Burlington Falcons. Fresh-Soph will begin at 5:00, JV to follow around 5:30, then senior celebrations at approximately 6:00 with Varsity immediately following the senior ceremony. This is a rematch of the conference championship game, so it's bound to be a great one. Come hungry as the dance team is hosting a dinner and we will have a full stocked concessions. We can't wait to have a packed house for our last home game. See you there!! 💙
