Sverdrup Chapter serves the Fort Leonard Wood Engineer community with the fundamental purpose of:
* Fostering appreciation for and study of the history and traditions of the U.S. Army Engineers.
* Assisting in raising and maintaining the esprit de corps of all members of the Army Engineers, military and civilian, through educational and charitable activities.
* Providing educational opportunities

for individuals and support scholarly research.
* Conducting operations exclusive for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes.

🏆 2026 Best Sappers Competition – Over 80 teams demonstrated excellence and celebrated tradition by being the Best of the Best!
A huge congratulations to 1LT Christopher Barrett and 1LT Bryce Sullenger from the 75th Ranger Regiment for taking 1st Place in the 19th LTG Robert B. Flowers Best Sapper Competition. Well done to 2nd Place - 1LT Aron Taylor & SSG Nicholas R. Schill, 326th DEB, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and 3rd Place - 1LT Lucas P. King & 1LT Duncan R. Day 65th DEB, 25th Infantry Division.
