Free VEX IQ Robotics Introduction Workshop

This free introductory workshop is designed for children who are curious about robotics and understand what robotics classes really look like.

During the workshop, children will:
• 🤖 Learn what robots are and how they work
• 🎮 Discover how robots are controlled using professional VEX IQ controllers
• 🧠 Explore the basics of robot programming and operation (explained in a simple, age-appropriate way)
• 🏆 Learn about robotics competitions and how teams participate in VEX IQ challenges
• 🚗 Get hands-on experience driving and controlling pre-built VEX IQ robots

⚠️ This workshop is an introduction and demonstration.
Children will not build robots from scratch during the session. Instead, they will focus on understanding, observing, and controlling robots, which makes this workshop perfect for first-time exposure to robotics.

The goal of this workshop is to help children:
• understand if robotics is interesting for them
• feel confident around technology
• experience robotics in a fun and low-pressure environment

No prior experience is required.
