💚 Today, on Child Health Day, we’re sharing a few simple ways families can help children stay well and ready for school each day.

❤ Getting enough sleep, eating nutritious foods, staying hydrated, washing hands, staying active, and keeping up with routine healthcare and immunizations are simple habits that can support children’s health and well-being.

😷🤒 Of course, when children are sick, staying home and getting the rest they need is important. But when they’re feeling well, being at school consistently helps keep them connected to their learning and their school community. ☑

💛 Take a few minutes to review these healthy habits with your children and talk about why they matter. 💖

🌟 Celebrating our School 2 Custodians! 🌟

🩵 On Friday, October 2nd, School 2 PTA celebrated our amazing custodians, Yordanis, John, and Carmen for Custodian Appreciation Day. 💙

🥗🌯 We treated them to a healthy lunch from Fudgarten, along with balloons and a custom-made card from the PTA, as a small thank-you for all they do. 🎉🥳🎈

🏫 Our custodians work behind the scenes every day to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for our school community. They’re always there when we need them, helping with the countless things that keep our school running smoothly and make a big difference each day.

💖 Please encourage your children to say “THANK YOU!” to our custodians — not just for Custodian Appreciation Day, but every day! A simple thank-you can mean so much. 🥰

💙 First SEPAG Meeting Was a Success! 💙

✨🌈 What an amazing evening at the first SEPAG meeting of the school year! It was great to welcome new and returning families and create an opportunity for families to meet, connect, and share in conversation.

🧡 Thank you to our SEPAG Leaders, Directors of Special Services, Superintendent Diane Collazo, members of the Board of Education, and PTA Board members for being part of the evening and supporting our families.

From icebreaker games, introductions to meaningful conversations and getting to know one another, it was wonderful to see families from across the district come together.

⚽️ We were also grateful to welcome Jen Mane from Fort Lee Soccer, who joined the evening to discuss an upcoming soccer program for our special education students. 🖤🧡

🧡 Welcoming Our New Families to the Fort Lee Public Schools District! 🧡

🤗 Hosted by Superintendent Diane Collazo, the evening gave new families an opportunity to meet District Administrators, Board of Education members, and School Principals, ask questions, and make connections as they begin their journey in the Fort Lee Public Schools District.

The School 2 PTA was proud to represent our school this evening alongside our principal, Mr. Brennan. As the School 2 PTA, we were happy to share more about what our PTA does — from enriching student experiences and supporting school programs to creating opportunities that make a difference in our school community. We also enjoyed connecting with new families and answering questions about the many ways our PTA contributes to the school experience. 💛🖤

🧡 Our Costume & Coat Swap was a success last year, and we’re bringing it back for another season of sharing and swapping.

🧥👗 Start getting those outgrown costumes and coats ready! If you have gently used items your family no longer needs, bring them in and trade them for something 🌟“new-to-you”🌟! It’s a fun and eco-friendly way to save money, share with others, and give pre-loved items a second life. ✨♻️✨

✨ Costumes and coats should be clean and in good condition. Any remaining items will be donated to a local charity.

We’re raising $20,000 for an author visit and other enrichment activities such as a planetarium assembly, and when you sign up at MyBooster.com, your pack has the chance to head to !

We have some fun in store for our families while we fundraise to reach our goal, but you must be registered on MyBooster.com to qualify. Plus, students earn their wolf ears just for receiving their first donation.
