Dear AEF Families,
In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we emphasize the importance of emotional well-being and community support for students' holistic development. Open dialogue about mental health is vital, reminding students they are valued and supported.
On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, and Friday, May 22, 2026, students are encouraged to wear green in support of mental wellness awareness, while adhering to school uniform guidelines. Your involvement is crucial in fostering a caring and positive environment.

AEF Schools is proud to announce our 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 Teachers of the Year, Ms. Jamie and Ms. Van Eer! 🎉🍎
These prestigious awards are presented at the Annual Greater Plantation Chamber of Commerce Luncheon in recognition of outstanding dedication and excellence in education.
Ms. Jamie was unfortunately unable to attend last year’s awards ceremony due to the flu, so we were especially delighted that she was able to be recognized and presented with her award today.
We are incredibly honored to have these two phenomenal educators as part of the AEF Schools family. Their passion, commitment, and impact on our students inspire us every day. Please join us in congratulating Ms. Jamie and Ms. Van Eer on this well-deserved recognition! 🌟👏

During a recent science class, students participated in a hands-on dissection activity, practicing key scientific skills including following step-by-step procedures, identifying organs, observing body systems, safely using lab tools, and working collaboratively. The students were thoroughly engaged, displaying curiosity and responsibility. Mrs. U, our science teacher, created this special lesson, as she does every year, to give students a real-world learning experience, demonstrating her commitment and creativity in science education.
