At South Broward High School, Building 2's Auditorium is officially complete! 👏

We can't wait to see what plays, events, and assemblies students and faculty put on in this brand-new space. With its modern amenities and improved seating, the auditorium is sure to become a hub for creativity, school spirit, and community gatherings for years to come.

During , Dania Elementary School received significant upgrades to its electrical systems. These improvements will enhance safety and efficiency throughout their campus. The project, completed during the winter break, was part of a broader effort to modernize the school's infrastructure and provide a better learning environment for students and staff. 🏫

Work on their brand-new state-of-the-art science building has continued, along with enhancements to the existing Building 1.

Winter break is the perfect time to give schools much-needed safety upgrades. At Margate Middle School, fire alarms and sprinklers were upgraded, and new air-handling units were installed. 🚨

Over the next couple of weeks, we will showcase some of the work that was accomplished. First up is C. Robert Markham Elementary, where the demolition of the main building is underway to make way for a brand-new facility.

These enhancements are more than cosmetic. A comfortable, modern classroom fosters focus, engagement, and better learning outcomes. Student safety matters. Thanks to the SMART Bond Program, many Broward County schools now have enhanced security features that help protect students and staff throughout the school day. Upgrades like single-point entries, modernized monitoring systems and secure campus access help ensure a safe, controlled environment. When students feel safe and secure, they can focus better on learning and growing along with their classmates.
