KPCOM ALUMNI ENJOY HIGH-FLYING FUN DURING ACOFP CONFERENCE - On April 17, a collegial mix of 50 alumni, faculty and staff members, medical students, and family members enjoyed an evening of stunning acrobatics and fun at the Cirque du Soleil: Drawn to Life show at Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The excursion served as a highlight at the ACOFP 63rd Annual Convention and Scientific Seminars held in Orlando, Florida.

SANDHOUSE SOCIETY WINS TAMPA CAMPUS COM CUP - Infectious energy was in abundance on April 15 at the Moss Café at NSU’s Tampa Campus when first- and second-year students came together for the COM Cup event, where the Society Cup is awarded. This final competition of the semester brought out the best in the societies, with teams going head-to-head in a lively trivia and competitive competition showdown to earn valuable COM Cup points. After an exciting and competitive year, the cup was presented to the Sandhouse Society, which earned the most points.

KPCOM PEER MENTOR APPRECIATION LUNCHEON/TAMPA BAY CAMPUS - On April 8, the KPCOM Peer Mentor Appreciation Luncheon was held at the Tampa Bay Campus to recognize the invaluable contributions of the college’s peer mentors. During the event, R. Jackeline Moljo, D.O., assistant professor of family medicine, shared remarks celebrating the meaningful support and guidance peer mentors provide to their fellow students. Their dedication plays a vital role in building a strong, supportive KPCOM community.

CLASS OF 2028 AND 2029 AMBASSADOR THANK YOU LUNCH/TAMPA CAMPUS - On March 23, the KPCOM Student Ambassador and Fellow Appreciation Luncheon at the Tampa Campus was held to recognize the dedication and impact of the student ambassadors and fellows who represent the college with distinction. The event featured remarks of appreciation from Kenneth Johnson, D.O., executive associate dean at the Tampa Campus, who highlighted the important role these student leaders play in shaping the prospective student experience by leading tours and participating in interviews, as well as answering questions and offering guidance. During the luncheon, first-year student Lily Daum was announced as the new lead ambassador for the 2026–2027 academic year at the Tampa Campus.
