Westminster Academy Is A Christ-Centered, Biblically-Based College Preparatory School Dedicated To Equipping Covenant Students To Excel By Using Their Gifts And Talents For God’s Glory. Since 1971, Westminster Academy has educated and equipped children as a Christ-honoring, Bible-centered, covenant, college-preparatory school ministry of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. We are composed of 2-year-o

lds through 12th grade with an annual enrollment of approximately 900 students. Our students are prayerfully immersed in Jesus Christ, God's Truth, and scholarly excellence in all areas of their learning at WA. We prepare our students to be exceptional thinkers, learners, and leaders with a Biblical and scholarly perspective for college and life. Our seniors receive college scholarships and many of them attend the top-tier universities in the nation including the United States Military Service Academies, UNC at Chapel Hill, Covenant, Duke, University of Florida, Furman, Georgia Tech, Harvard, Holy Cross, MIT, Stanford, Wake Forest, Wheaton, and Yale.

Throwback Thursday to one of the most memorable alumni moments of the 2025–26 school year. 🏀

When High Point University earned its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory, Westminster Academy alumnus Chase Johnston ’19 delivered the game-winning basket with just 11.7 seconds remaining, helping secure one of the biggest opening-round victories of March Madness.

What made the moment even more memorable was Chase's response.

After the game, he gave all the glory to Christ, sharing, "I was just praying, 'Lord, let us shock the world.'" He later added, "First and foremost, I want to give all glory to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."

From setting a national high school record with 546 career three-pointers at Westminster Academy to making history on the national stage, Chase continues to reflect the faith, perseverance, and character that have marked his journey.

Family Never Graduates, and we are grateful to celebrate the ways God continues to work through our alumni.

Throwback Thursday to some of the special moments that brought our WA family together during the 2025–26 school year! ✨

From the Father-Daughter Dance to our first-ever Mother-Son Date Night at the Diamond, these Lions Parent Association (LPA) events provided opportunities for families to connect, make memories, and celebrate life at WA. More than memorable evenings, they reflected the heart of Westminster Academy and the relationships that make our community so special.

Thank you to our Lions Parent Association for creating experiences that strengthen our school community and make WA feel like family.

What a wonderful reminder of the connection, fellowship, and school spirit that filled this historic year!

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸✨

As we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we give thanks for the gift of freedom and for the generations who have worked to preserve it. America’s history is deeply rooted in the Christian faith. From the Pilgrims to the Founding Fathers, a biblical worldview has shaped our nation’s values and moral foundations.

We are grateful for this legacy as we honor our nation’s past and look with hope toward its future.

Wishing our WA family a joyful and safe Fourth of July as we celebrate this historic milestone together!

🇺🇸 A grateful nation remembers. A grateful school teaches the next generation to do the same.

As we reflect on America's 250th Anniversary, we are especially thankful for the men and women whose service has protected the freedoms we cherish.

Throughout this historic school year, Westminster Academy students honored our veterans in meaningful ways. From our PK4 Red, White & Blue Parade and K–12 Veterans Day Chapel to welcoming home Korean and Vietnam War veterans from an Honor Flight, students experienced firsthand the importance of gratitude, service, and remembrance.

These moments were more than school traditions. They were opportunities to honor those who have sacrificed for our nation, pray for our veterans, and encourage the next generation to lead lives marked by faith, courage, and service.

To all who have served, thank you. Your sacrifice inspires us, and your legacy reminds us that freedom is never free.

🇺🇸 As we celebrate America's 250th Anniversary this week, we're reflecting on the many ways Westminster Academy students learn about the people, events, and ideas that shaped our nation.

One of this year's highlights was our Fifth Grade Living Wax Museum, where history came to life. Through research, writing, and creativity, students transformed into influential Americans and other historical figures, sharing their stories through first-person presentations, interactive displays, and authentic costumes.

More than a history project, the Living Wax Museum challenged students to think critically, communicate confidently, and appreciate the courage, leadership, innovation, and faith of those who shaped our nation.

For 250 years, America's story has been shaped by individuals who answered God's call to lead, serve, and make a difference. At Westminster Academy, we are committed to preparing the next generation to do the same.

🇺🇸 As we continue celebrating America's 250th Anniversary, we are reminded that one of our nation's greatest strengths has always been the generosity of its people.

That spirit was on full display at Westminster Academy's Star-Spangled Gala, where our community came together for a historic evening of generosity and purpose. Together, more than $1 million was raised to support Westminster Academy, including more than $500,000 for Phase One of The Next Chapter Capital Campaign and over $600,000 for the Annual Fund.

More than a fundraising milestone, it was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community unites around a shared mission and invests in the next generation.

🇺🇸 As we continue celebrating America's 250th Anniversary, we are thankful for one of the values that has always strengthened our nation—neighbors serving neighbors.

At Westminster Academy, that spirit is lived out every day through our incredible Lions Parent Association (LPA) volunteers.

One of our favorite moments of this historic school year was the patriotic, backyard picnic-themed faculty and staff appreciation lunch. From picnic baskets and sweet treats to thoughtful details and joyful fellowship, every element reminded our faculty and staff how deeply they are loved and supported.

A thriving school is built by a community that serves together. Thank you to our LPA volunteers for faithfully investing in the people who invest in our students each day.

🇺🇸 This week, as our nation celebrates America's 250th Anniversary, we are reflecting on the freedoms that have shaped our country—and none is more precious than the freedom to worship.

One of our favorite moments from this historic school year was our Third Grade "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Through Scripture, worship, patriotic music, and heartfelt presentations, our students celebrated God's faithfulness and the blessings of living in a nation where faith can be shared openly.

The celebration continued with a family picnic, reminding us that faith, freedom, and community are gifts to be cherished.

For 250 years, the freedom to worship has shaped countless lives. At Westminster Academy, we are grateful for the opportunity to help the next generation grow in faith and boldly live it out.
