NSU’s Caribbean Law Students Association invites you to our panel discussion
“Resilience as a Minority in Law”

This panel will give students the opportunity to hear from Magistrate Hilary Creary, the 17th Circuit’s second Magistrate of Jamaican descent, along with other accomplished attorneys, as they share how they navigated challenges and built successful legal careers.
The evening will also include time for networking with our panelists, including a Broward County Assistant Public Defender, a former real estate and entertainment attorney, and Professor Kenneth Lewis. We hope to see you there ! 💚💛

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we’re coming together for an empowering evening of discussing Domestic Violence in legal practice.
We are collecting donations of diapers or wipes. All proceeds will go to Broward Partnership to support victims in need. We hope to see you there!

Some of our CLSA Executive Board had the honor of attending last night’s event presented by —an unforgettable evening spent in the presence of women from diverse backgrounds, including judges and accomplished attorneys, all united by a common goal: creating a safe space for Black women to thrive in their legal careers. We also had the privilege of witnessing history as the 77th President of The Florida Bar, the first Black woman to serve in this role, delivered an inspiring address.
