The level of coordination it takes to protect ports, vessels, and waterfront communities. Leadership from department across Florida came together for Resolve Marine Academy’s Maritime Leadership Command Course hosted by St. Augustine Fire Department.

Participants included leaders from Jacksonville Fire Rescue, Port Canaveral, St. John’s County, and Fernandina Beach — with support from Nova Southeastern University’s SEAMIST/HAZMIRTSI program and a visit from USCG Sector Jacksonville leadership.

During EMS Week, we also want to recognize the AMS professionals, firefighters, rescuers, and maritime responders who continue showing up for their communities every day — on land and on the water.

Different agencies. Different specialties. One mission: preparation before the emergency happens. ⚓️

Today we celebrate every woman who has ever suited up shown up and refused to be the exception in a room that wasn’t built for her. 💪

There’s a theme each year for International day for Women in Maritime but our mission at Resolve remains the same.
