Today, in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we would like to highlight athletic trainer, Andre Gonzalez!

Andre has been working for 8 years as a certifed athletic trainer. He has had the privilege to work numerous settings including collegiate, clinical and even international experiences. Andre is currently an athletic trainer at Florida International University within the Campus Wellness and Recreation Center.

“I think Hispanic Heritage Month and representation in the profession means everything. That we, Latinos/Latinx, continue to step up to the challenges and shortages within Healthcare in multiple disciplines. We continue to grow in the profession of Athletic Training which provides under privileged individuals another medical professional in the community that may offer them sound medical advice in their language and provide cultural competent medical care.”

Camp Job Posting: Looking for a Certified AT to work an Elite Youth Wrestling Camp. Approximately 125 kids in a low intensity camp focusing on technique.

When: August 4-7
Schedule: 7:45 - 2:45 daily, lunch will be provided.
