July 22 at 2pm, Shane O. Wever, Halmos Research Associate, will present a Summer Learning Program at the Dania Beach Paul DeMaio Library.

The program is titled The Magic of Coral Reefs: Corals, Creatures and Careers and it is for all age groups to learn about the coral reefs right in their back yards!!!

March 3-9, 2024 is National Foreign Language Week. Inaugurated in Spring 1957 by Sister Eloise Therese, the former President of Alpha Mu Gamma, National Foreign Language Week celebrates the learning of languages as a way of fomenting friendship and understanding across cultures. To celebrate this special week, our AMG chapter, Alpha Alpha Zeta, in conjunction with the Dept. of Humanities and Politics, is happy to announce its first ever Language Fair. We will showcase some of the languages taught and spoken on campus, as well as allow the NSU community a chance to practice their foreign language skills. Our language faculty will be present to chat with students. The event will take place on Thursday, March 7th from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Cotilla Gallery of the Alvin Sherman Library. Congratulations to NSU's Model UN team, who did an admirable job at 305MUN at the University of Miami last weekend!🇺🇳

Our students competed against some of the top Model UN schools in the country and succeeded in bringing home numerous awards, including Best Delegate, Honorable Delegate, & Honorable Mention.🏆
