Don’t forget that tomorrow is an early release day. School ends at 2pm. If your child is attending the dance after school, please make sure they are picked up promptly at 4pm. Thank you!

9/30 Friday girls only- All grade levels

10/5 Wed.- No school-Yom Kippur

We’ve had a great week spoiling our teachers & staff for Teacher Appreciation Week. They enjoyed cappuccinos from a gourmet coffee cart, some delicious meals, and we topped it off with Kona Ice on Friday! Special thanks to Friends of New River, our parent volunteers, and Ms. Allen for coordinating such an amazing week!

Some of our 6th grade marine science students made a splash today at the beach helping to conserve the environment and create beautiful works of art in the process. A great day to be a Shark…at FLIBS 2021! 🙌🏼🦈🙌🏼 Thanks to Marine Industries Association of South Florida for supporting our kiddos, New River Middle School, we got 50 kids to explore and learn about the marine industry here in South Florida! 🙌🏼
We also got to tour some AMAZING yachts thanks to Northrop & Johnson…and got photos with Guy Harvey & Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation. 🥰🦈 They were so excited and I hope this excitement in the industry just keeps growing!
